Tmj / Or a Hair In My Throat Posted: 01-27-06 12:05pm
My apt is dry and I use a vaporizer to
keep are moist. Feels like a hair is in
my throat. Been eating cashews and
drinking lot of water/fluid still but
still no hair. Is this a pinched nerve in
the tmj or what? :?:

Home Remedy Posted: 02-07-07 18:39pm
Im not exactly sure what it is, but here's
a home remedy that might help. Whenever
I felt pain or "weirdness" in my jaw or my
throat, I put warm packs on the side of my
face to relieve some pain. I found this
product online called the icecaddy that
helps me to put heat on my face absolutely
hands free. It even comes with 2 packs
for your convenience to warm up yourself.
The product is great because I can go
about my day and ease my tmj pain at the
same time. It really helps me calm down,
relax, and go about my day in a normal
fashion. I hope this helps!

I often feel as though I have a hair stuck
somewhere in my mouth and/or throat...
does this mean I have TMJ? It's SO
annoying. It makes me gag and the feeling
won't go away. HELP!

It doesn't necessarily mean you have TMJ.
What other symptoms are you having? Jaw
or face pain? Headaches? Etc.? Your
throat problem could be sinuses draining
or the like. You should be checked out by
a doctor.
