Always works for my hubby. Let me ask you this tho...
In your first trimester can u tell me if u had the same symptoms?

-wet burps that taste nasty ( I dunno what its called)

-sensitive nipples that gradually get more super sensitive as the days go past

- gassy, slighly unusually tired

- urinating 1-3hrs... I would tell u more but I doubt u want to hear all that since these questions are the majority of the posts anyway, but I think its b/c everyone wants to know for themselves.

Yeah they sound about right but it could also be alot of other things other than being pg so if you think you could be pg then just take a test it is much easier than trying to guess. The dr can also do a blood test which will show a positive result faster than a home preg test which usually has to be taken when you are either due for your period or late.
Good luck.
I off to try and bribe my hubby :-) these feet are driving me nuts!!!!

Black and blue? Gross. But ne ways I cant sometimes convince my hubby to rub my feet but rarely does he make an effort and make them feel ne bette so I just go get a spa pedicure and when the person doing it (if they area woman) sees how big u are they tend to give u a longer massage plus then your lil piggies (thats what I call my swollen toes) look pretty

Pressure Points
Posted: 02-21-06 11:18am

Be careful when receiving a pedicure during your pregnancy. There is a pressure point on the side of your leg...Right above your inner and outer ankle that can induce labor!! Also...There is another pressure point between your thumb and 1st finger that will also set off pre term labor if massaged!!

If you're not showing when you receive your pedicure you need to tell them that you're preggy so they know to avoid the pressure point in your leg. I worked at "the aveda institute" as an estitician and saw many women actually have to leave becase the mani/pedicurist rubbed their pressure point and they began to contract!

Your ob/gyn might suggest rubbing these points if you are past due...Just make sure your hubby or pedicurist does not!!

Good .Luck yall!!

I am definately going to remember these pressure points! If she's not on her way out in 2 weeks, i'll have to give myself a nice ankle massage (if I can reach them that is)

Lol...I hear that....It's actually right above your ankles...Almost 2 - 3 inches above...Be sure you massage the inner and outer pressure points!! Along with taking care of the skin they taught us all of the pressure points and muscles of the body...Talk about a lot to learn!!! Not only those but the bones. We had to learn scientific terms and lamens terms for everything that had to do with the human body!! Grrrr....I'm sooo glad i'm outta there and have my state liscence!!!!!!

Lol...Just tell them...They should know which ones they are....If they can see that you're preggy...They'll automatically disreguard rubbing them...

But if you say "hey...Rub the pressure point above my inner and outer ankle to induce my labor" they should know.....Unless they were schooled before this was known....

Let me look in my books to see what I can find and i'll scan them if I do...

i just wanted to say that if your feet are swelling during the 1/2nd trimester and turing colors you need to contact your doctor it's a sign of pre-ecleamsia. Mine like toni did too but it was in my 2nd trimester 20 week they started to swell and turn colors....And about 4 weeks later they had to take my baby to make my blood preasure and seizers go away. If your feet get abnormally swollen in the 2nd trimester....Talk to your dr about it.
