I Had My Gallbladder Out 1 Wk Ago - Questions... Posted: 01-26-06 18:51pm
Hello,
i finally had my gallbladder out (lc) last
thursday. Aside from a belly-button
incision infection, i'm doing ok. I'm
trying to stay mostly no-fat with my diet,
but I admit I have snuck in a tiny bit
here and there. The first few days were
relatively event free, but today (after a
very good, no-fat diet day), i've been
burping a ton. Is this normal? Anything
I can do? How long will it last?
Thanks for your advice!!!

They say it is normal to have some
belching and runs. Let us know if
anything wacky taffy occurs. It may not
occur until months after the
surgery!!!!!!!!!!!

i had gallbladder surgery 10 months ago.
It's gotten worse for me as far as being
gassy. Seems it's a fairly common problem
for some of us who've had gb surgery.
Hope it clears up for you.

Gallbladder Incision Posted: 09-18-06 21:50pm
I had my gallbladder out sept. 5th.
Everything went well and I am not having
any problems. My only concern is my
incision below my belly button. I now
have two belly buttons. My surgeon says
that a stitch is pulling my skin in. If
it doesn't not release on its own, I will
need to go in and have him cut it loose.
Has anyone had this happen to them?
