my mother died when I was 13 and have been under counseling and taking celexa for depression. Recently I experienced chest pain which radiated to my shoulder blade. Can this be serious?

Chest pain radiating down the shoulder blade can be a symptom of a serious heart disease for older people, but since you are 16 years old, this symptom might not be too problematic. If you are experiencing depression, I personally don’t think that the condition could be something serious, but you can see your family doctor to report the symptoms and to seek a preliminary diagnosis .
