My name is kourtney(kourt) and I am new here. I just want to say hey to everyone and let them know a little about me. I am 17 and 29 weeks pregnant. My baby's father has decided not to be in the baby's life. This is really sad and I would like to hear about anyone else's story. Please everyone pray for me to have the strength to be a good single mother. Thank you. Cool

Hey

hey my name is christina and I am 39 weeks ... One thing I have been thinkin about ever since I heard dr phil say it is when alexandra from the doctor phil family say that her babies daddy decided not to be in the babies life and dr phil said" I never realized being parent was a choice when you helped create something"... That really made sense to me.. I hear tons of girls who are pregnant say the father has chosen not to be invloved... Its not a choice its a responsibilty... Dont worry I aint harping on you girls when u say the babies daddy isnt gonna be there.. Cuz I am in the same situation.. My babies daddy doesnt want to be invloved so he is saying its not his... Which it will be proven it is... He may not want to be there... But in one way or another he will be... Weither its financly or emotionally.. James my babies father is not going to be getting away with not being there... I will hunt him down lol stay strong you guys:d our little ones need us:d they need their fathers to but you win some u lose some

Hi, i'm samantha. Welcome to the forum. I'm due in about 3 weeks my babies father is still with me and is still being supportive in any way that he can even though he is scared out of his mind, but hey so am i. I do know alot of girls whos babies fathers are not in the picture anymore and they are all doing really well so i'm sure you will be fine, just stay strong and never give up. If you ever need help we are all here and will help with whatever we can.. Good luck with everything. Oh and do you know what you are having? I don't know what I am having.. Bye

Hey kourt and welcome to the fam! There are a lot of really supportive girls on here so if you ever need anything don't hesitate! Btw im vanessa, 16 1/2 and just found out that im expecting, still with the daddy and things are better than ever surprisingly...As for your baby's father, it's his loss if he doesnt want to be a part of such an amazing experience...I'm trying not to depend on my b/f because I know there's a possibility he'll bail just because he's a guy and that's what most do! Lol but just keep your head up and know that you can do this, without that sperm donor! Have you found out the sex yet? How has the pregnancy gone so far? Well I hope you're hanging in there!
Much love,
vanessa

I have 3 kids and a 4th on the way and I just want to say that you will find someone to be in your baby's life even if it's not the biological dad! But don't rush it that will just cause more heartache for you and you child but when you do find the right guy you will know it! Keep your head up and congrats or your baby!!
