Hi! A few months ago I had to go for a endoscopy (camera in stomach) I was sadated but they couldnt get ther camera down my throat as I kept gagging and pulling the camera out of my mouth. Yesterday I went to see a surgeon who said he would perfom the endoscopy under general surgery using propofol. (propofol is the thick white stuff they give you prior to putting you under anethectic) has anybody ever had an endoscopy performed under propofol. My surgeon tell me I will be completely out for the count but thats what they said last time when I was sadated. Anybody help??? Paul
