Q: Scared. Uti? Or Std? Male Question

Sheesh, I dont know how to say this but i'm really scared. I'll start with laying out the history.. I'm a 22 year old male in wa and yeah, i've been around but safely (meaning I wore condoms and such).. I've also been with a girl for about a year and a half. She's pretty trust worthy so I couldn't say I got anything from her, but after we broke up I met up with this chick from the internet (real stupid.. I know) and she performed unprotected oral sex for about 2 or 3 minutes and that was that. This was almost 2 weeks ago.

My problem is, for the past maybe 2-3 weeks i've been having painful urinating sessions. It hurts the tip of my penis while urinating. At first I thought it was b/c of my bad diet of coca cola. So I started to drink a lot of water and that pretty much cleared it up.. Until last night when it came back and there was a whittish discharge (about 1 drop) comming out of my penis..

I brought this up to a buddy and he said it was urinary track infection. But i've also done research about chlamydia and ghonnaria (sp?) and both std's share similar traits concerning white discharges.

My question is; is it uti? Or could it be an std that could have been transmitted orally?

I can't get checked until a few more days (bad healthcare options) so anything that would inform me will help tremendously. Thanks

Yes, some stds can be transmitted orally. That is why if you are being treated for one you cannot have sex for at least 7 days (if you were given the one dose treatment)...No oral, no anal, no vaginal intercourse. Typically chlamydia and ghonorea leave the person with a sore throat. If a partner has one of these infections of the throat, and then gives their partner oral, the infection is spread.

Urinary tract infections in men normally do not cause a discharge. Symptoms of uti in men include: pain/burning when urinating, fever, cloudy/smelly urine, urge to urinate frequently but hardly any comes out.

Std symptoms in men will sometimes include a milky discharge from the penis that slowly/occasionally leaks out. Often with common stds, such as chlamydia, men will not even have symptoms.

Thanks teach,

i just got checked for uti and they said non was present. They said it might be something called nsi?(non specified infection?) I got some doxycycline and i'll see if that clears things up.
