Hi everyone, i've had a mole on my right hand since I was first born 17 ears ago.

Today I was feeling it and I noticed it to be a tad lumpy, as it is quite the big mole. It has always been a bit lumpy as I have grown older.

So I thought I might scratch it for a bit (my nails are quite long I need to cut them) to make it less lumpy and it bled a little bit.

The mole looks like a normal mole, but I am assuming I am paranoid.

My father said that I simply just scratched it too much, but I am scared I have skin cancer.

Help please.

Get it checked out.

I had a mole since childhood that changed and I also thought it was nothing until my dermotologist took a biopsy and told me it was cancer...Very first stage. Had it removed and thankfully no further treatment since it was caught at its earliest stage.

Please have it checked out....

But the thing is, it hasn't changed in years.

Get it removed
If any mole on your body makes you uneasy, it is best to have it removed. I had a mole for years that made me nervous. My GP told me to just keep an eye on it. Bad idea. I'm not a doctor! I can't objectively tell if it's changing. I finally went to a dermatologist years later and she didn't like the looks of it either. She immediately removed it for a biopsy, and thankfully it was benign. But if I ever have another mole that makes me nervous, I will have it taken out right away. It doesn't cost much, it doesn't hurt, and it's one less thing to worry about!
