I wouldn't. We learned in my prenatal class that babies as they are developing all through the pregnancy swallow water and it helps develop their lungs and stuff and if you smoke they don't do that, that is why babies who had parents who smoke usually have bad lungs. But smoking is bad anyways for you, and people who smoke have a higher risk of miscarriages and sids. I'd not smoke if you think your pregnant. The faster you quit, the better it is for you and baby, so even if your not pregnant, when you do become pregnant next time, there wont be any nicotine in your body.

I wasnt sure I was pregnant untill I was 3 to 4 weeks and thats early. Plus it was right after hurricanr katrina and me and my babys father had like nothing but a trailer....Lol it was really hard to get ciggerettes but I did smoke occasionally. Not like 5 a day mybe 2 a week. But I did quit and I havent smoked since.

The most crucial part of a pregnancy is the beginning. I would stop smoking if you are planning on getting preg.

I quit smoking when I found out I was pregnant, I wouldnt risk harming the baby for something that would probably end up giving me cancer in the end anyway....I hate seeing pregnant women smoking its so selfish grrr

lol thats weird...I didnt know I was pregnant until I was 2 months and I knew something was up ..Because the smell made me sick to my stomach..Couldnt tolerate it at all..Thats the first sign I had of pregnancy..I thought it was just me  ..Haha glad im not the only one ...My fiance was so mad at me ..And he was like I have never heard of that I guess I will have to let him know the news!! Its not just me!

Jennancory...If you think you are pregnant ..Stop smoking as soon as you can..I know its hard I have been there and done that...But I respected my baby ...Because I hate seeing pregnant women walking around with cigs in their hand/mouth...It bothers me ...

Lol sorry to all of you who smoked while pregnant ..
