Guy With a Question

I need some peace of mind here. Way back in 2002 between october 20th and november 10th I had sex with this girl once (i can't remember that exact day). I found out the next year at the end of october of 2003 that she was pregnant because I saw her at a wedding that we both attended. I did some research and found out that a pregnancy term lasts from 38 to 42 weeks. This would mean that she would of had the child august 10th through august 31st of 2003 max, right? So if she was still pregnant when I saw her mid to late october 2003, then there is no way that it's mine, right? I guess I was wondering if my assumption is correct. Do you start the 38-42 week countdown from that night of intercourse or is there a delay in conception first for a long time then you count from there. My calculation is from the night of intercourse plus 42 weeks out and it looks like i'm in the clear by over a month (all of september plus mid to late october). Plus this is assuming that she had the child right after I saw her. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. Thanks

Hi

pregnancy lasts for about 40 weeks from the date of the last period, or approximately 38 weeks from the date of conception.

From what you have said, its highly unlikely she was pregnant with your baby.

Best wishes, sandy
