Is 45 Too Old for Pregnancy? Posted: 01-25-06 08:55am
I am 45 and my partner 46 and both would
like to have a baby but would like to know
if this age is considered to be too old.
We both have children from previous
marriages but would like one of our
own.

If you are healthy, you still ovulate, and
want to have a baby... you can. It is true
that there is an increased risk of
creating a genetically damaged baby at 45
years, but not always. If you want to
conceive, you can begin trying.
