Gi Problems With Lupus Posted: 01-24-06 22:53pm
I was dx'd about a year ago with sle after
having several bouts of hospitalizations
with gi problems mostly severe pain and
nausea and being unable to eat or drink
anything that wouldn't cause severe pain
then finally my doctor did an ana test
which was over 12000 lord have mercy I
didn't know it could get that high and i'm
an rn. I did have some joint pain but
i'm also heavy so I just attributided the
joint pain to that. Any way after being
hospitalized 6 times with the stomach
problems they finally figured it out. Now
I take several medications to keep the
nausea at bay but now my biggest problem
is fatigue. I am finally back to work
after being off for eight months and don't
want to be in the position of not being
able to provide for my family again does
anyone have any suggestions as to how the
get a little pep back into my step?????
