You are considered infertile if you have been actively trying to conceive for 12 months or more with no success. There could several reasons for infertility but you won't know exactly until you see a urologist of you are male or a gyno if you are female. Low sperm count or low sperm motility is definately a possibility. It is also very common for men to have varicocele vein in their scrotum which affects sperm reproduction. Best thing to do is get checked out to give you peace of mind.
