Q: Gall Bladder

I hope someone can help me. About a year ago, I started having classic symptoms of gall stones. The chronic constipation followed by chronic diarrhea. The abnormal symptom was constant vomiting. I had my gall bladder taken out december 23, 2005, and since then, I have done nothing but throw up. I have lost 35 lbs, 10 in the last 2 weeks. Can anybody tell me what's up with this or has anybody been in a similar situation? Something else is obviously wrong, but what? Oh, also my md doesn't really seem to be all that bothered. He put me on a nausea patch and wants to see me again in 6 weeks. Is that normal?

Thanks for your help!

Gall Bladder
Loss of weight is not unusual. Had gall bladder taken out in 2002 and went from 195 to 161. But I did not have your problem for as long as you.

Part of problem is you don't have gall bladder to break down fat as before as I was told and it goes through some but not all people. If you can't get a better answer here try;

Allexperts.Com

then go to health & fitness category category. There you will find further breakdown. There are a number of doctors there you can ask. Their is no fee or registration.

Hope this helps

Re Weight Loss
Well I dropped from 195 to 161 and then it stopped. It also reduced my cholestorel to normal so that part was fine.

Good luck with allexperts.
