Hi i'm an egg and nut allergic teen who
will be attending university next year in
ontario, canada. I'm not sure where i'm
going but a lot of the universities i've
talked to don't seem to understand the
risks of cross contamination and they are
very rigid on thier food plan policies.
I want to live in residence and have a
typical college experience but I have to
work around this problem! Does anyone
have some suggestions or experiences they
could share with me? If you could that
would be greatly appreciated!

They need to be able to accomodate you.
The college that I go to has to put
nutrition facts and ingredient lists for
all foods offered. That way if there's
something you need to watch for, you can.
If there don't offer foods you can eat
then speak with who runs the eating
commons (Our people were usually walking
around and making sure everything was
running smoothingly), if that doesn't work
then file a complaint.
