I stopped my bc pills on nov 13th because I decided to ttc. I had a normal period on the 16th of nov, than on dec 18th. I than got it again on jan 6th ten days early and I still have it it goes off and on, some days relly light some days nothing at all. I was on birth control for 8 years prior to stopping. Do you think this is because of the birth control and I should wait it out a little longer or should I see the doctor?

Hi:) what you are experiencing is completely normal. When you stop taking bc pills your body gets a little whacky, all those hormones are now gone so it kinda trips out a little. Irregular bleeding and spotting is quite normal, however a trip to the doc if it continues for much longer is a good idea. Your body does need time to readjust, give it a few months, but if after that ytou are still worried definately see a doc.
