Hello all!

I'm new here, i've been surfing around the net trying to find some info but can't, so here I am.

I have a problem often having pulled muscles in my back, usually inbetween my shoulder blades, as well as at the base of my neck. I am an electrician and would consider my job physically demanding at times but I dont ever recall actually pulling anything at work, but i'm not sure if it would take days or a week after doing anything strenuous for something like this to show up, doesn't sound right to me. A lot of the time they just show up in an instant.

Would some kind of strechting possibly prevent getting these pulled muscles? Even so, i'd like to find the root of this if its possible, or is it just the way I am?

Another thing that i'm not sure is realted or not is that I get a sore lower back if i'm just on my feet or walkng casually for any length of time. When at work doing physical stuff (climbing, pulling, carrying, lifting, bending stuff) I feel fantastic, its only if i'm just standing there that causes me the greif.

Thanks for any input anyone can provide.
