Is there a chance you could get pregnant even if you havent had a period in 4 years?? I was diagnosed with secondary amenorrhea.. I lost a lot of weight 4 years ago and have not menstruated since... I have been on provera and still no period ..... I am just really frustrated..Thinking I will never be able to conceive!! Has any one ever heard of any thing like this...And will fertility treatments even be able to help me??

Try Not to Worry
I never had a period for three years and then all of sudden I was having them once every three months and got pregnant within the first 4 months of my relationship and then they were more regukler and then stopped but around three years was the longest.
There are fertility kits you can get online maybe try these but also go to your doctors and express your concern.

Danae,

i wish I could say I understand your frustration but because I am a guy I cannot and so I will not say I do. However I do understand your situation because my wife and I went through years of treatment and a tremendous amount of dissappointment.

Since you are having the problems that you are having and also you desire to have children, there are many options open to you. There is the obvious in adoption but it does have its draw backs. If you chose to adopt, it is best to adopt from a forigen nation due to the fact that the corrupt court system in the united states has given children back to the genetic carrier because they had a change of heart and want back the baby that they gave up.

You can also go to a fertility specialist who can diagnose the problem and come up with a plan of attack to make it possible for you to concieve and have a baby. It is super expensive and the vast majority of insurance plans do not include help for this kind of treatment. Our baby is the $40,000.00 baby, we just got out of bankruptcy court and we are trying to get our finances all back in order but if we had to do it all over again. We would in a second!

Don't give up hope, and don't be afraid to vent and share your feelings with this forum because it is easier for us to forgive and understand than it is for you to have it out on your hubby and then hope that all will still be ok. It is normal to have very bad feelings and it is totally valid to feel them. It is a painful thing to struggle with something that is supposed to be so simple yet for people like us, it is not.

Good luck and please take comfort in the fact that many of us here at ehealthforum have struggled too and we all pray for each other. (those of us that pray anyway)(other sprinkle babydust on you through your internet connection ;>) )

good lucck,
brian

My opinion would be to stop stressing(i know it is easier said than done)!
I had some friends of mine that went throgh about the same thing so they gave up and adopted a child and then she ended up pregnant and things are great! Have you spoke with the dr about this, ran tests?
Good luck to you!

Hello danae,

first of all, you need to address the glandular dysfunction, responsible for the abnormalities!!!...Please keep in mind I am speaking from a natural health perspective.
And it does not have to cost $40,000 to have a baby!!!
I work with cases like yours, very often, and hear the frustration. Also, because I believe in a natural approach, we have to allow the body to take its natural course to heal, but it always happens!
Please try to find out more about what I am talking about, ask questions as you need!
Good luck!
