Scrotum Question
Posted: 01-23-06 17:25pm

Last year... Up in feb. I started getting a round lump on my scrotum. I never told anyone and it lasted a few days until I had to go to the er. They cut what they called a "cysit" open and drained it.. Said it had become infected. It got to the point I couldn't walk or sit down and before going to the er it got real big and burning...

Now, almost a year later I thinking i'm getting another one this time on the opp side. So far it's just a small lump but before the lump showed up yesterday I had been having minor pains for a week or so.

Does anyone know why this happens or what it can be causing it? I read on another site that it could be testicular cancer, but if that's the deal wouldn't the doctor I seen the first time tell me that's what it could be or to get it checked out? I also read people with diabetes can get these and other infections easily? Which I am.

Any help would be greatly app!!

Cysts can come back.. I had one removed from my groin in september, and the surgeon told me that it could grow back...

Yeah, the doctor in the er said it could come back, but after some months I just assumed I was good, now a year later it's on the opp. Side. Will they keep coming back? Can anything be done to stop them? Thanks.
