Hi, the hysterectomy is a simple process now, they take everything out through the vagina. I had a complete, I am 36 my surgery was on the 1st of july, I was affraid, but my dr was great..He made 4 small incisions on my tummy and used a scope to see everything, then pulled everything out through my vagina...Fast healing. I have 2 babies 1 & 2 there is no way I could be down for long...Lol ..It's simple, fast healing....No more periods..Go for it!!! Wink

Although a hysterectomy seems like an easy way out it can also follow with many complications and the effects of menopause. My mother had one due to a problem in her ovaries and she was in bed for 6 weeks and couldn't move well at all. Ever since she has been in a deep depression and battling the effects of menopause. Im not saying its not a good idea just do all the research and look at all the positives and negatives.
