I took pills to get rid of giardia, and I
was tested for it... Didn't do anything.
And this problem is getting worse.

Omg im soo happy I found this site, I have
exaclty the same problem I have been
searching for the disorders for ages but
all I could find was lactose intolerance
which I ruled out, after a while I decided
it was all in my head and no one has reali
mentioned it. Its the most embarising
thing you can imagine and so socially
demoirlising. I too am bunking lessons
off college and my education is suffering.
Im so dissapointed that we havnt found a
cure, I need to have this sorted before
uni at least. Like all you lot I have as
many as 3 showers a day and it still
doesnt seem to do n e thing. I wore pants
and boxers on top of them. It helped a
little but not much. I reckon it must be
some sort of intestinal problem, maybe
theres a valve that doesnt properly shut
and so xcreetes the smell constantly, now
I know there are others with the problem
it makes me feel so much better, I was so
worried about going to the doctor because
I wouldnt know what to say + telling my
mum why I had to go etc. I like the idea
about going to an island lol. Maybe the
government can finance us :s.
Andrew_maxfield@hotmail.Com if any of
you find a cure please share it or if you
just fancy a chat. I have loads of mates
and I dont think they realise, they just
think someones farted occasionly, but now
its becomming a problem im worried they
will start not wanting to be hanging
around with me any more, imagine if ur
best m8 stank of caca all the time :(

I'm going to try taking pills that have
good bacteria. I my self was on
atnibiotics that could have killed off the
bactiria in the gut that breaks down the
food. Maybe its inbalence I dont know.
But we gotta try something and this is
what im going to try.
I have a few questions for everyone maybe
we can try to point out one thing thats
causing this..
How many of you smoked weed regulary? How
often do you still?
How many of you have done other drugs ?
What kinds? And how often?
How many of you were on antibiotics for
acne or something else? How long?
Do you drink coffee or alot of soda?
Do you have ibs (irttable bowel
syndrom)?
Has anyone taken a colon cleanser or had
an enema...What was the effect if any?
Thanks and I really think if we all work
together we can figure something out.

Yes mate im totally with you, the world
seems to be against us the doctors cant
tell me caca, I hate having to go to
college cause I know im going to have to
sit next to some poor basterd for an hour
n a half, I smoked weed occasoinly maybe
an 8th every other month, I did coke once
and 1 pill, I mite smoke a couple of
people once a weekend at a party or the
pub. It does seem to be when im nervous
that it gets worse hoever I dont believe
at all that it is totally that. I havnt
been on any anti biotics. Does your room
stink when you wake up?

Angelstyls - are symptoms of these worms
the gassy smell?
I really dont think its weed because so
many people smoke it. But its always
possible. Who knows but weed is too
widely used to signle out as the cause
unless all of us are/were regular
smokers.
Ive done a lot of drugs. Mostly weed.
Some shrooms. One acid. Some amt and
some 2 ci.
The amt and 2 ci are research chemicals so
I was in the back of mind thinking maybe
they could be the missing link...The xtacy
could actualy be full of those reasearch
chems. But if other people didnt do them
and have the same problem its pointless to
focus on them

Well it might be giardia cause the worms
eats all the vitamins and stuff like that,
and the symptoms match what I
have.(bloating,gas.Nailfungus.Etc)im going
to the doctors to see if I have
giardia. And if I dont have giardia I want
him to check if I have leaky gut syndrome
or lactose intolerance or flatulance or
gerd or celiac desease.
And is it possible that the desase could
be invisible or something,cause the
doctors act like it is.`

So many possibilities I agree that its not
caused by drugs though. I have loads of
druggy m8s n there fine. This is winding
me up a treat, thing is nothing hurts, all
my symtoms are that I get gassy alot, and
alot of the time especially sitting inside
for long periods theres just a gassy smell
about me that comes and goes in wafts.I
looked at the worms thing and cant see how
they can be causing the gassy smell. Its
one thing being gassy, but smelling of it
when your not is a different thing. Make
sure u explain to ur doctor exactly ur
symtoms and if he tries to tell u its
nothing smck him in the head and tell him
to fooking listen to u.

Any Happy Endings to This Story???

I have exactly the same symptoms as the
first poster- it seems like my anal
sphincter muscles are really loose, and
when I go number 2, it's hard for me to
fully push it out- it's always very tarry
and frankly sticks to me. I am at the end
of my chain with this- i've lived with the
laughing and the humiliation for awhile
now, and I used to be able to deal with
it. But i'm getting too old for this. I
can't really handle it anymore.
I think that:
a) the root cause is a digestive problem.
Either food allergy, disease, bacterial
infection, or ibs.
B) afterawhile the problem becomes mental
also, when you've heard enough whispering
and commenting you start to become nervous
around people because you are afraid you
smell. And when you're afraid and nervous
that you smell, you smell worse.
My particular case is strange in that I
can smell my own gas, I can smell my own
poop, to put it in a straightforward way.
But I can't smell the smell that I hear
other people say they can smell. That
makes me believe that it's not actual gas
or fecal material- but sweat. I seem to
sweat alot in the anal region, which leads
me to believe that for some reason my
sweat smells that way in that region. Is
that liver problems- a problem
metabolizing something in the food I eat?
I have:
1) quit smoking.
2) am now dieting to lose weight (i am not
obese but am overweight)
3) am eating a diet lower in fat and sugar
and higher in fiber and natural
unprocessed foods
4) I am working out to gain muscle mass
and increase metabolism.
I am at the end of my chain here.
As sad as it sounds i'm happy that i'm not
alone. It sure feels like I am around
here.
I hope all you figure this out. I'll let
you know how i'm doing.
Thanks

Last poster...You might wanna check out
the disease known as trimethylaminuria.
For a while I thought that it was what I
have but now I just dont know.
Im going to begin taking lactobacillus
acidophilus. Its the good bacteria in the
gut that fights off bad bacteria. Some of
you might want to look into it and try it
along with me. Maybe it will help
somewhat. Research it first though. I
hope someone gets some answers from a
doctor I cant go now I have no med
insurance.
Good luck everyone

Preventing or reducing odor. Certain
methods or oral agents may help reduce
odor from accidents. They include:
deodorizing tablets, such as derifil,
nullo, devrom, and chlorofresh can be
taken by mouth or used in appliances.
Most contain chlorophyll.
Some people report that taking vitamin c
helps reduce odor. High doses of this
supplement may have adverse effects.
Patients should discuss this with their
doctor.
Taking an alfalfa pill four times a day
may reduce odor, and is not believed to
interfere with any other medications.
Alfalfa is a common grass and some people
with seasonal allergies may experience an
allergic reaction. Talk to your doctor
before taking any type of supplement.
Drinking more water, not less, will also
reduce odors. Drinking more water may
actually help reduce leakage, too. [see
dietary considerations; fluid intake in
the next section of this report.]
im gonna try the devrom one
