Red Bumps, Back of Throat! Read!!
Posted: 01-22-06 17:41pm

Hey,

every couple of months (for about a year and a half now), i've been getting red bumps at the back of my throat. They're not on my tonsils, tongue or hangy throat thing. Instead, if you look straight back, to the back of my throat, there's red bumps (not perfectly round, slighty elongated, only slightly). This sore throat I would describe more as a "muscular sore throat" , because it doesn't feel much like a "cold sore throat". These bumps last for about 4 or 5 days, and there's discomfort in swallowing. Also, for a long time i've had recurrent bladder infections, heartburn often, but overall, i'd say i'm pretty healthy. The reason why i"m worried is because about a year ago I got quite drunk, and gave oral sex to someone that I had only known for a short time. I didn't know him very well, and he'd probably have lied to me anyway. He said he was "clean" but what if he wasn't? Do I have an std in my throat? I look sorta pale, and my new (very trustworthy boyfriend) also has started to look quite pale. We both have dark circles under our eyes (other ppl have noticed them). They're not really bad, and i've had dark circles for like my whole life, but other ppl notice. I don't have hiv do i? I dunno, i'm freakin out tho, im young, and have a whole life ahead of me.

If anybody has any clue to what I have, please let me know, or at least give me your opinion. Could it just be something simple? Some simple curable virus? Or do you guys think its something serious? Please answer!!

~chewy_mango~....Very concerned!
