Jealousy During Pregnancy
Posted: 01-22-06 06:11am

Okay lately i've been getting extremely jealous with my fiance, he can't even look at another girl without me going crazy, although it seems like he cant keep his eyes every other girl except me.. I also have been feeling very insecure. I really hope this is due to all my hormones going crazy and once I have my baby everything will be okay. Gosh I hope i'm not crazy.. Please tell me i'm not the only one going through this..

I have been dealing with this one, too. Not being 120 pounds, or less, I had a poor body image before anyway. Being pregnant doesn't help that at all. Like I said in the fat blimp post, my hubby always makes sure to tell me how beautiful I am to him. That helps a little, but I still feel great jealousy when I catch him looking at other women passing by who I feel are much prettier.

I just wish he would only look at me. I very very seldom even look at other men and think, "wow! He is hot!, " or "wow! What a nice ass!", etc. . In a way I guess that makes me feel as if I am being disloyal to my husband.

I guess that he will continue to always look, though, because it is only human nature. It isn't that I doubt he loves me. I know he does. So, I just try to do my best to hide my insecurities in this area, but try as I might I still slip occasionally with a comment to him.

If you are crazy then you aren't the only one. Even though my hubby still tells me how good I look, I turn into a green eyed monster when he looks at another women. Even though I am loving being pregnant and getting quite attached to my bump I can't imagine me still looking sexy to him! Lol!!! Especially when I get stuck on the couch/bed/floor etc and have to roll off it or flounder around like a beached whale (anything but gracefull). :-)

I have always thought that the day that we all stop looking is the day we all will be dead! Don't forget, you are human too! Look on, it is our hormones and hormones rage more when we are pregnant and do not be insecure about it, just kind of chuckle about it.
Good luck!

My hubby and I have a wonderful relationship....I am not very jelous (never have been)....I have a little hump now even at only 10 weeks, he can't keep his hands off of it (even in public). I know he looks and even makes coments but the way he treats me I know that I have no reason to get jelous. We have been thru a lot together and I know that is more than a fake blonde with big huge boobs.
