To say that a born baby doesn't think is
insane and your scenario with the gun is
even more insane. Just because a newborn
hasn't had the life experience to know
what a gun is, doesn't mean there isn't a
thought process going on. Geezus.

let me tell you in simple
words guest.
Abortion= the killing of an unborn
child=the killing of someone innocent
even if it this words where not written in
the bible they are still correct.
You shall not kill, you shall not steal,
you shall not commit adultery, you shall
not lie. Abortion does not compare
to wars. This is about shedding
blood of innocent
people.
true that!!
and the holocaust was not innocent people?
That was a war... I bet you never
thought that a pro-choicer would ever be
able to use that example against you!!
I still think it's sickening to compare
the deaths of thousands upon thousads of
born people to the deaths of unborn
fetuses. It doesn't even make sense to
me. They are different things; for
born people can think, and fetuses
can't.
the holocoust was indeed innocent people
of course. You think I did agree with
the holocaust? Gee eiri how you come up
with that. The holocaust was horrible,
lucifer at it's best.
no, i'm saying that pro-life tries to use
the holocaust in direct comparison to
abortion, when the two are in fact very,
very different.

and what's up
that the fetuses can't think? A born
baby is not thinking too. You can put a
gun into newborn baby's head and the baby
will have no clue you are going to kill
him.
yes it can, it knows when it is hungry,
when it is cold, etc. Just because they
do not know what a gun is does not mean
that they are not thinking, silly. They
are constantly absorbing new information
and processing it!

you are right, when you put the gun in the
baby's head the baby will probably be
giggling at you thinking you are going to
play with him hahahaha I guess that does
counts as a thought.

you're incredibly ignorant. You do have
children, correct? And you're telling me
they don't have a thought process from the
moment they're born? They cry because
they're hungry or gassy or cold... They
know they aren't comfortable. Newborns
most definitely think. Like I said, they
don't have the *experience* or *knowledge*
(y.E.T) to know what a gun is or that it's
dangerous. Just because they haven't had
the experience you and I have, doesn't
mean they're incredibly braindead
nothings. Are you sure you're pro-life?

babies know more
than they were supposed to know. After
only minutes of exposure to its mother's
face after birth, a baby can pick her out
from a gallery of photos. Babies
recognize the gender of other babies, even
when cross-dressed, provided they are
moving-something adults cannot do. They
are mentally curious and eager to learn.
Consider how smoothly the senses are
coordinated at birth: eyes turn with the
head in the direction of a sound; hands go
up to protect eyes from bright light; the
first time at the breast, the baby knows
how to suckle and breathe in perfect
synchrony; they shriek and pull away from
a heel lance.

i am glad you realize that. Fetuses just
because they don't have the experience you
and I have are not incredibly braindead
nothings.

Oh right. Try and pretend that you were
trying to trap me and use my own words
against me. And btw? I have never said
that fetuses were braindead nothings, nor
have I ever implied that they were. So
addressing this post to me is in no way
proactive. I simply said that newborns
were not. Something you seem to think is
untrue. You *really* value life, don't
you?

Yeah, nice try... But the whole thing
about fetuses not thinking is because they
don't have brains that are wired together
yet; and that happens around week 26. So
up until then, no thinking is happening.
After that? No one is sure. But they
are definately thinking by
birth.
