Last night I started having a mild but sharp abodominal pain, that was very localized. I could press on the exact location and it would feel sore, bruised, and almost hard in that little area. There are about 3 of these pinpointed areas, 1. 2 inches above and slightly to the right or my belly button, 1 inch below and to the right of my belly button, and another 1 more inch down. With gas the sharpness got worse, but it will hurt at random times too. Also when I was urinating it made the spots hurt worse. I have no other symptoms, and have had the pain for close to 24 hours. I hope it is not appendicitis....I do have a new ache and pain all the time which I think is due to anxiety...Does anyone know what this is or do you suppose it could be the anxiety making it seem worse than what it really is?

If it is the spot I am thinking of, it could be your gallbladder. I know my anxiety problems did not start until I started having gallbaldder problems, don't know if it is all related. I have gallbladder disease and my gallbladder is going to be taken out soon. Could be kidney stones or maybe a hernia also. I would have a doc check it out to be safe.

when I first started getting the pains, I got them in my upper right chest, nothing unbearable, just annoying. As weeks went on I started getting pain in my right abdomen right below my ribs, then starting getting pain in my right shoulder. None of the pain was horrible or unbearable, just annoying. In the last week or two the abdomen pain has gottten a little worse. But I have gallbladder disease. If you have gallstones or even kidney stones, they could cause some really bad pain. My brother in law gets kidney stones every once in awhile and it puts him in tears.
