my brother in law has bone cancer in his hip for a18mths they now have found a spot on his ribs and lung what is his life expectancy

bone cancer

my niece was diagnosed in nov 08 with breast cancer in stage 3 by dec 08 she was in stage 4 and they discovered that she has bone cancer she is doing radiation 2 times a day 5 times a week how long will that last and why so much where does the itching come from
