I also posted this on the birth control forum so sorry for the repeat...

I have been on yasmin for 7months. After my last period which was jan. 6th 2006 I stopped my pills. I checked online to see when I would ovulate if I do and it would be today (the 20th) I had unprotected sex early this morning (we are trying to have a baby) what I was wondering is , is it likely for me to get pregnant this month or would I need to wait longer

I have heard that some women can conceive right after going off of birth control pills, or even if they have missed a pill etc. However I have also heard that it sometimes takes longer for your periods to become regular again, so maybe not, who knows. Trying is fun in the meantime anyway, so just relax and enjoy yourself :)

Tne8583, I also used yasmin and I was on it for about nine months. My fiance and I have been ttc for about four months now and just this month I felt ovulation cramps. I could have been ovulating the last three months but I am not sure and we still tried. It might take a while for ovulation to start again but I don't think it should take more than a few months. Call your doctor and they can tell you when you most likely begin to ovulate again. Good luck and baby dust to all ttc.
