Q: Hepatitis C And Liver Discomfort

My husband was recently found to have the hepatitis c antibody. He was stabbed with a hypodermic syringe in a hospital car park by some druggie (the night our daughter was born). It is now 18 weeks since this incident. Although he has now had two rna tests done (both show the virus is inactive) he is still getting discomfort round the liver area. If he has killed the virus off himself why is he still getting this pain? Any ideas?
