Honestly I have not found a way to help this problem. It just seems that the more stressed I get the more of those I get on my face and on my butt.

I don't know if it is genetic (sicilian heritage) or just an allergic reaction to something.

No clue but if someone knows how to clear them up, it would be great.

Yeah, there is no butt shaving going on. 8>)

i think it is just acne but there is no way to tell for sure and it is not intrusive enough in my life for me to go get it looked at. As far as I am aware, it doesn't bother my wife so it really is not a big deal.

I have had them before but when I went to the tanning bed one day I burned the hell out of my butt. The redness stayed but the 'bumps' went away for quite a while-months.But they came back eventually

Well, since the bumps went away after you tanned, it sounds like it could be acne. Ultra-violet light dries out acne and can clear it up for a while. What I would do first is go to walgreens or some other drug store and buy some topical acne cream. Use that for a few weeks and see if the bumps clear up. If it doesn't work, then you might want to consider calling your doctor. If they are boils, your doctor will probably prescribe some anti-biotics.

You could always try warm compresses if they're boils.

Its probably just acne and I used to have it too when I was younger. I started washing every day with antibacterial liquid soap, and I swear to god nothing else would work but that. It worked like a charm man. Im sure it will go away in no time. It is pretty doing it emabarrasing I must admit. Hope I helped

It could be exima (sp) where your skin is very sensitive and irriated easy with a pinkish rash and sometimes bumpy, just a guess.

Penelope67-what is the name of the soap you used? Did they go away period?

Its not exima,i know what that looks like. They are on the very bottom of my butt near the top of my legs. They don't always hurt, but sometimes it hurts like hell!

Um, not sure what brand I used-any will do as long as it is antibacterial. I think softsoap makes antibacterial liquid soap, but if you cant find it wal-mart has equate antibacterial liquid soap that I have right now-and yes-it went away period

Sorry I don't want to keep bothering you.Do you just do it when you are in the shower? Do you scrub or just wipe? Don't mean to sound gross or get personal! :?

Why dont you try bathing in salt water and try wiping your butt with clearasil (use cotton wool),then make sure your moisturise it with a good sensitive lotion.
