I've been off work for 6 months now with depression. My boss said that I have to telephone once a week to keep her updated. I think it's a waste of time because nothing simply changes. Sometimes I forget, and she calls me. This week this happened. My bosses attitude was really agressive and I ended up shouting at her. She told me that I was in breach of contract for not calling her on that day. After I shouted at her some more I just hung up.

Does anyone know if there is something I can do? Can my doctor insist that work does not contact me or something? I think that they have a cheeck teklling me that I am in breach when it is their fault that I have depression in the first place!
