Okay don't be scared, you are probably bleeding funny due to the pills. You see, they cause your hormones to go whacky when you take them like that.. The morning after pill even causes funny periods. Please see your local planned parenthood if you can, and they can really help you out!

modern birth control pills are designed so that if you accidentally skip one, you can take it as soon as you remember to and take the next one in the cycle. You can take two in one day and be fine. It should not affect you as much as taking emergency contraception would.

In the future though, don't take two at the same time unless you have accidentally forgotten one the day before. Two pills at once does not give you any greater protection against pregnancy. The pills are designed to keep your hormones at certain levels every day, that's why we take them daily.

If you've had your period 3 weeks ago and are now bleeding again, you are not pregnant. I got on birth control pills originally just to even out my cycle because I would have a week long period and then two weeks later bleed again for a few days and then not have another period for a month. It happens. Stress can affect the levels of your hormones even when you're on the pill. From what I am reading, I think you are completely normal.

If you are worried about it, you should see your doctor as soon as you can and ask their professional opinion. They will more than likely just tell you that your body is adjusting to stress or the pill and that you aren't pregnant. Keep us posted.
Peace,
jenn
