Ok I am new on here , I thought I would give it a bash as I have no other route to follow at this time.

I am 32 yr old male , wife and two kids I have been suffering with stress now for two yrs , probably since I stopped smoking. Anxiety attacks started happening and I thought I was really ill , the doctor prescribed me paxil. Peroxetine hydrochloride , these I took for a yr and they worked only I was but a carcus devoid of all emotion. So I give those up , it was hell got something called paxil flu , shakes , giddiness, ect. Not nice at all. So I got over the tablets and the stress stayed away for about 8 mnths but now its back .

Anyone that could share their ideas with me I would appreciate.

Sorry to hear that...But I have the same thing. I just try thinking positive, but it really doesn't work. Must be in the air, cuz i'm meeting a lot of people that have the same thing now.

Tafflaff,

there are a number of things you can do to help yourself, right now though it's 2am here in australia on new years day so i'm exhausted & having trouble seeing much less advising so i'll just give you a couple of suggestions.

First nothing worthwhile happens overnight & without some effort from you.

Second, smile :d whenever you see yourself in the mirror smile (trust me think about how you feel when you smile, do it this instant!! Didn't that feel good?? & if it didn't you just need to practise!! Laughing ), you should also get in some extra practise by smiling when you say hullo to anyone, that includes greeting your family with a smile (i know the welsh are supposed to be a dour lot, but be unique!! Rolling Eyes ).

Third, try & take an early morning walk (it will be easier after winter, but a gentle bit of peaceful exercise will help).

Fourth post again & remind me to continue, but start the remedy now!!
:d Smile Surprised Shocked Confused Cool Laughing :p Embarassed Wink Rolling Eyes :d Smile Laughing
