i am almost ready for the hysterectomy... I was good to go, no problem... Until I started reading about all the sexual problems after!!!

This may be tmi, but I love sex... I have been married to my dh, for 16 years, we make love at the very least 4 times a week, I think that is pretty normal, right? Doesn't even really matter... What I am freaking out about is all this I am reading about ladies not liking sex anymore, and having a hard time reaching an orgasm....What? Why?

Does this happen to all of us? The hyster is not an option.. But man this is really not like just having your appendics removed is it ?

Why do us ladies not like sex anymore... This is very important to me! Is it the hormone thing? The vaginal dryness I am reading about? This may be really pushing the envelope, but I want to know!! They don't remove the clitoris....I mean ya know? Is the desire gone? Or just the initiative?

I know this all mat seem self centered... But like I said, making sharing our minds, and bodies is such reaxed and lovely part of my marriage!... So I need to know if this happens to all of us?

What is about to happen to us?

Thanks, and I do apologize if this is not proper.

You must get the historectomy either way right? Well if it goes away they do have viagra for women. It might not be like it was before, but at least you will still have a chance for some desire. And who knows, maybe you wont lose it anyway, not all women do! Good luck!
