Hi all,

i am 17 years old and need help desperatly, my filling has been bugging me for about 2 years. I get this sharp pain in my filling, not when I eat, or drink or sing, it comes whenever. I don't know when it will come so if I am in a middle of an interview, and it starts to strike, then I wouldn't be able to talk. The only way how I would stop the pain is by pushing my tounge down my pre-molars where the filling is to stop the pain. But of course, nothing can stop my fillingfrom hurting. :(

one time I was sleeping, it hurted so bad, it woke me up in the middle of the night. I really hate it.

Is it because the filling touches the nerve? Is my filling too deep?

I did an x-ray, the dentist said it was ok, he checked my teeth, he said he can't figure out whats wrong?

Help!! :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

I had 7 cavities filled 5 months ago, and I still wake up at night with extreme pain. The dentist cant find anything wrong, but it will start to hurt any time of day and ive been taking painkillers for months now!
