Does anyone get limb pain as an effect of
anxiety? For about a month I had really
bad constant pain in my arms that suddenly
went away, and then for the past 2 months
i've had recurrent pain in my right
leg(goes away for a few days then stays
for a while, repeats). I was(and still
am) worried about it being dvt(blood clot
in the deep leg veins), but I told that to
2 different doctors and it seems like they
blow it off and tell me I have anxiety
without even checking my leg. The docs
said "well it's not hot or swelling", but
I read that dvt doesn't have to have those
symptoms all the time. It's seems strange
to me that anxiety could be causing it to
hurt almost every day. I'm a 20 year old
female, not overweight, eat pretty
healthy, but went through a depressed
anxious time where I slept and sat around
a lot which I think could've given me dvt.
People always tell me there's nothing
wrong with me but they don't know what i'm
feeling. It angers me off that no one
will listen to me and check out my leg. I
feel like i'll have to die of
complications before anyone will believe
me!

Hi there! You can always get another
opinion if you feel it is dvt. I am no
Dr. But I realize stress and anxiety can
cause limb pain or just ask your dr to do
a ct scan. Has any of your drs given you
anything to help with your anxiety, stress
or depression or pain?
Good luck!
Keep in touch.

I get pain, twitches, what feels like vein
twitches, and tingling in my legs and arms
off and on sometimes. It may be hard to
believe but it just sounds like anxiety to
me. There are reasons that the main
fears of people with anxiety are strokes,
heart attacks, heart diesease, blood
clots, and ms. The symptoms of anxiety
mimmick the symptoms of all of these so
well, that it is so hard to tell yourself
that you're okay, even with a perfect
physical checkup.
I think you should try eft. It's so
amazing. Www.Emofree.Com
it gets pimped on this board all the time,
but I just recently tried it and it is
totally working for me. The first time I
tried it, I had total relief of my
underlying anxiety and negative thoughts
from the middle of the day until the next
day, from just a few minutes of tapping
and repeating statements to myself! It's
cost and risk free, so there's nothing to
lose.

My doc has given me xanax and it doesn't
do anything to help with my anxiety. I
can't feel the effects of it at all
really. It I take one around bed time,
it still won't help me but when I finally
do fall asleep it makes me have wierd
dreams and have foggy memory. But other
than that it doesn't do much help. I am
gonna check out that site now, i'll tell
you how it works out.
