I just started the pill and didn't want to take the placebo pills.

Do your periods come sooner if you take the placebo or not??

Thanks..

Hey fins,

i have never taken the placebo pills. Those pills are there just to keep you in the habit of taking a pill everyday. They're basically just "sugar pills" and have no hormones or anything in them.

Skipping the placebo pills won't make your period come any sooner. You will always start your period during the week when you're supposed to be taking the placebo pills-- whether you take them or not.

Wait a minute.

So you just randomly took two active birth control pills? Did you take all the pills before that?

Irregular bleeding is common for the depo shot. It can take up to six months for your periods to fully regulate again. Starting birth control pills (instead of randomly taking pills) can help regulate sooner.
