Chronic Nausea
Posted: 01-16-06 13:33pm

I am 26 years old and have suffered from chronic nausea since I was 14. I have had extensive tests done and the doctors are unable to figure it out. I had my gallbladder removed in may because one of the tests I had showed it was not working properly. It seems like I have gotten worse since having it done. I am on welchol now to help with the bowel problems that I have now since removing my gallbladder. I am on phenergan and just started nulev for the nausea and they help a little. I am having a hard time accepting that I just have to live like this. I have a hard time functioning. I have to work a full time job in order to support myself and I am in jeopardy of losing it because I go home sick a lot. I don't know what to do anymore. Over the years it has gotten really bad and I now weigh under 100 lbs. I love to eat and try to eat whenever I can but most days I have to starve myself so I can get through the day at work. I am hospitalized a lot for dehydration. I just don't know what to do anymore. I have tried everything even seeing a naturopath and taking homeopathic remedies which have not done anything for me. I am getting married next month and I am terrified that I will have to put my husband through this for the rest of his life. He deserves better. I would appreciate any advice anyone can give me.
