Ok, so I have my lip pierced and was wearing a retainer (a small, about 1/3 inch) plastic thing shaped like a golf tee. I coughed and it came loose (in my mouth) and I think I inhaled it (as I was drawing in breath between coughs). Though I may have just, i'm hoping, swallowed it. I don't feel anything, any sense of anything lodged in my respitory tract. Would I even notice?
