Hello and thank you for taking the time to read this.

My gf ( age 23) is on a blood thinner medication called kumoden( sp?), and was instructed by her doctor to not use a birth control, except condoms. Her and I were curious, is there any other forms of birth control minus condoms or abstinence?

hmm
There are loads of birth control methods besides the two you mentioned. Most common is the pill but others include the sponge, spermicide, and a diaphragm. The doctor was most probably refering to not using the pill with the blood thinners. I'm sure there is more than one effect combining both birth control pills (that are known to clot your blood) and blood thinners but I from what I've found it seems that the drugs just won't be as effective. So the blood thinner won't thin as well and there's a chace of getting pg even if you're taking the pill.
