Q: Symptoms and Conditions of Polymyositis

I have just been diagnosed with Polymyositis and I am in a lot of pain, That has been my primary complaint this whole time. Does polymyositis explain the pain? I have weakness too and I am walking with a crutch.

Yes, Polymyositis can explain the pain and weakness you are experiencing. Polymyositis is an inflammatory disease with an unknown etiology which affects the muscles, skin, heart, and kidneys.
