question: I have developed strictures and self-caterize 4-5 times daily. Are there any treatments for this such as uroplasty surgery or stents.

Yes, there are a few surgical techniques for treating urethral strictures. Less invasive methods are cystoscopic incision of the adhesions, urethral dilatation and insertion of a urethral stent. These 3 techniques are used for smaller strictures. A more invasive (but also more efficient) technique is performing urethrotomy with urethroplasty. Consult your urologist to help decide which treatment is best for you.
