Q: Pregnant And Questions

I just took a test on christmas eve, which came out positive. I just had x-rays done just over a week ago (when I had no idea I was pregnant) of my neck and back. My pcp has me on celexa. Since it is the holidays, my question is....Can I continue to take my celexa and how concerned do I need to be about the x-rays? Thanks.

Personally, if I was really stressing over this, I would go to or phone? A hospital & ask about the x-rays & the celexa. But people have x-rays all the time without knowing they're pregnant & some women are multi drug users throughout their pregnancies & despite all the odds the babies are fine, so I think that if you can see you own dr before new year you'll get better more (hopefully) honest & informed answers. As to stopping the celexa I don't know enough about you & it to comment but again you could contact a hospital & ask about say reducing your dose?? But a few days shouldn't matter really.

Good luck
