Cancers Answer A184
You can go to your primary physician to determine your Ideal Body Weight (IBW) according to your Body Height (BH), age and sex. The most commonly used formula for determining IBW for males is:

IBW = (BH (cm)-100) - (BH (cm)-150)/4 (Age-20)/4

If your weight is more than 10% lower than the IBW for your age, you are probably suffering from malnutrition. If you are suffering from malnutrition, several blood analyses have to be done: a blood picture, sedimentation, creatinin, transferin, albumin, complement(C3),… We usually don’t consider cancer at your age, although you can follow up on your intuitive feeling at the physician's office.
