Had surgery two weeks ago, got out of bed yesterday afternoon and tripped over my oxegen cord and fell. I was able to break my fall with my arm but I don't know if I have done any damage or what. Scraped my knees and elbows but other then that I seem ok

Man that sucks. After my last surgery I was getting into my dad's pickup, I went to recline the seat when he hit the gas, straight over I went, it does give you a scare. Good luck, and becareful.

Oh no,

buttons you need to call the surgeon if you havent already. They may want to get you in for an x-ray to see if the lordosis was affected. I know that you wont have much since it is a new fusion but if the fixation hardware or the bone graft split, it could spell disaster.

You need to really take it easy and use your walker. I used mine for about 3 weeks post surgery and then went to crutches. After my 2 month check up I was told not to use any help as far as crutches or walkers. Also after the two week follow up I was told not to use my brace because it interfers(sp) with the muscle build up and can really slow down the strength process.

Let us know how you are as soon as you know how you are,
brian
