Hi, I have suffered with stomach problems for approx 4
years the main symptoms are...Nausea, belching, and a dull
ache in the center of my stomach (about an inch from my
belly button)
i went for an ultrasound and it showed that I have
a "thickened wall" gallbladder and my doctor has refered me
to a surgeon (no gallstones where detected!)
im not sure weather its my gallbladder causing my stomach
problems or my stomach. As I dont have the typical gall
bladder symptoms (pain under right rib, radating to back
and shoulders)

i find my symptoms come on first thing in the morning and
then late evening after a meal.

For years my doc told me I had a ulcer and ive been on
allsorts of drugs but none of helped. I find my discomfort
comes on in waves. I can go a few days feeling great but
then my stomach problems can flur up again. I have been for
an endoscopy but they couldnt get the camera down my throat
as I was very nervous (even under sadation!!) I couldnt
even handle a barium meal as I began to gag when I
swallowed the barium (im emetaphobic...Which made this
worse!) :(

anybody suffer the same symptoms as me who can give me some
advise??

Paul

Gallbladder Disease
A malfunctioning gallbladder can certainly cause stomach problems, gas, belching, nausea etc. But since there was a suggestion of "ulcers" try Modernherbalist.Com and click on "digestive problems". You might want to try "mastica" or "gastric complex".

Usually with an ulcer, when you get hungry, you will feel a gnawing burning knot type feeling between your breastbone and bellybutton which usually goes away after eating. Gallbladder symptoms are usually felt after eating, especially fatty greasy foods. I know from experience, I have both right now.

Re: Gall Blader Or Stomach Ulcer? Please Help!..........
I have been having similar symptoms...the dull knot in the top of my abdomen...and nausea comes and goes (so does the knot). I could not rest the other night, due to cold sweats and nausea. I've also been very weak.
I have not been to the doctor yet, cause this is just the 2nd day of "serious symptoms". At first, for about 2 weeks, off and on, I have just had the dull "knot" in the upper part of my abdomen. Seems like after I eat it subsides for a little while.
I have used some online medical "diagnosis" Q's and A's and they all have pointed to either Gallbladder, Gastrointestinal issues/diseases, Pollyops, or cancers. So, I guess I will be calling the doc. Oh..and I am not pregnant!

So, what might this sound like to you?
