Q: Not Enough Air!

For a while now it has been feeling like when I breath I can't get enough air or my lungs feel uncomfortable if I try to take a deep breath or even breathe out really far. It feels like my lungs won't expand to accomodate the oxygen or something. It seems like i'm feeling like I can't breathe more than I can breathe normally. When i'm sleeping usually the only comfortable position for me is on my side. I always have to cough too and clear my throat. I know i've read on here about people not being able to breathe when they have panic attacks, but does anyone get it on a daily basis whether you feel anxious or not?

Ive been suffering from the same problem. You're symptoms sound
exactly like mine. I also have chronic heartburn and am thinking the two
are connected, maybe gerd. No insurance so I cant go to the doctor.
I try to suck in air and it seems my throat cuts the flow off, takes 5 or six deep breaths to open up. Then sometimes the problem just goes away
completely. Im able to exercise fine so am pretty sure its not real serious
just stress and maybe reflux disease problems.

I have your exact symptoms daily or every other day. Ever since I have had my son (C-section about a year ago). I also started getting anxiety/panic attacks for the first time. I am wondering if they are related. I am going to make an appointment with my G.P. and I will keep you posted. Good Luck, and if you find out anything please let me know.
