Q: Anxiety Treatment Options

I have classic social anxiety for which I go to counseling to help get over. Another counselor is giving me xanax and fluoxetine, the generic of prozac. The xanax isn't a problem but the fluoxetine causes excessive burping and has killed my sex drive. This is in no way going to help me on the dating scene or socially unless i'm eating in japan.

I've heard that zolft has side effects such as severe headaches and my father had taken it and didn't like it so he discontinued. My family has a history of panic attacks and at 38, i'm finally getting treatment for mine. I dearly don't want to be dealing with headaches or severe side effects but I also don't want to continue belching and having zero sex drive. Are they any other options available as an alternative? I'd like to bring this up when I see my counsel again but I have no idea what's out there. Thank you.
