I've been in monogamous relationship for ten years - new partener has been in monogamous relationship for twelve years - 99% certain his partner never cheated - we're both mid 40's - no alcolhol or drugs

we've had unprotected sex, both intercourse and oral, a few times - are we ok? Is it too late to use protection?

No one knows anything for sure just by speculating. If you two have concerns, possibly the two of you can go to the doctor's to get a blood test done? After that, you will both know 100% that there is no risk, (cause chances are, there probably isn't, but I am not a doctor!) and then without the worry, you will both enjoy the intimacy even more!! :d
