:( dunno whats happening or if this is
normal during the latter stage of 2nd
trimester of prego, in the past week there
were a couple of occasions were I couldnt
breath properly, like im running out of
oxygen in my system, I feel dizzy and
gasping for air it lasts for about 30 mins
or so then my breathing would be normal
again
although it normally happens when im in a
congested area like train stations, when
the radiators on-indoors, I had a 25th
week assessment with my midwife last
thursday she said its normal although if
the person's asmathic, or has a lung prob
then its a diff case. I just panic when
it happens.
Any suggestions or relevant experience
would help  I just get so incredibly
paranoid during these episodes of gasping

Oh ...I had this problem to ...Scared the
crap out of me...Its completely
normal...Its mostly because the baby is
getting bigger(taking up more space)...And
my doctor told me just to lay on my back
with my arms over my head...The reason you
feel out of air is mostly because the baby
is pressing up in your ribs...And lungs
and that makes it where you cant breathe
as well...I had it from my 2nd trimester
till I had my son...

If I am walking around and talking to
people..I run out of air like it's
nothing. My doc says its from my uterus
pushiing on my diaphragm and that it's
totally normal. Sitting with your back
totally straight and breathing deeply
through your nose can help wonderfully!!
