Ok, my other question is what exactly does
high blood pressure meds do for you, I
mean how does it work?
If it lowers your heart rate, does that
make you lethargic?

It depends on what medication you are on.
Which one would you like to know about?
The main idea is that it dilates your
blood vessels which decreases the pressure
but it's really much more technical than
that.

I asked this over two years ago when I was
having trouble with elevated BP and Drs
gave me a couple months to lower it or
they were gonna suggest meds.
I changed my diet and lost a few pounds
(probably need to loose more) and now have
no more BP problems
Both my parents have HBP and are medicated
for it; my mom has a hard time with hers
and is always having to change meds.
